Not only do we offer seasonal vegetables, but we also grow delicious thornless blackberries and vine-ripened strawberries.

Local,organically grown berries are safer and higher in vitamins than the conventional store bought varieties that are picked unripe and then artificially ripened while being transported possibly thousands of miles.

Canebrake Farm is excited to offer Community Supported Agriculture shares(CSAs) by delivery and pick up for 2017! We are committed to bringing high quality, delicious seasonal vegetables grown to perfection through organic methods.
Your CSA membership means you'll enjoy 30 weeks of fresh vegetables while supporting the growth of sustainable agriculture in our community. Our Veggie Lover's CSA boxes are more loaded than typical CSA boxes from other regional farms. Our boxes will be stuffed with a just-picked variety of seasonal produce with a flexible option for customer preferred items.

CSA SCHEDULE
Our CSA will consist of two 15 week seasons with a 2 week break in the summer:
Spring Season: April 22-July 29
Break: No boxes on Aug 5 and Aug 12
Fall Season: August 19-Nov 28
RATES
Four Options
1. Market Pickup Every Saturday between 8a and 12p at the Oxford Community Market
$1050 for 30 weeks ($35 per week). The last pickup will be Tuesday, Nov. 28 instead of Saturday, Nov. 25 due to
Thanksgiving.
2. Spring Season Only Market Pickup- April 22-July 29- $525 for 15 weeks ($35 per week)
3. Home Delivery Every Saturday for an extra $10 per week

VEGGIE LOVER'S CSA
SUSTAINABILITY
Canebrake Farm places great importance on sustainability. We try to use as many local materials that we can produce on our farm. For example, we extensively use our homegrown bamboo(for which we are named) for many projects here in the gardens. We have bamboo greenhouses, bamboo cold frames, bamboo trellises, bamboo fences and bamboo plant cages.
With the aid of our 50 plus laying hens, we also produce most of our organic fertilizers and compost right here on the farm with both hot and cold composting methods.
Here at Canebrake Farm, we are developing our own seed supply every year by saving seeds and replanting from saved seed to improve adaptability.
